The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
