The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
