Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
