Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
