Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
