The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
