The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
