The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
