The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
