The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
