Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
