Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
