The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
