The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
