Believers, do not consume usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear Allah, in order that you shall prosper. 130 Save yourselves from the fire which is prepared for the unbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy. And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 132 ۞ And rush towards forgiveness from your Lord, and towards a Paradise that can hold all the heavens and the earth in its width – prepared for the pious. 133 Who expend both in joy and tribulation, who suppress their anger and pardon their fellowmen; and God loves those who are upright and do good, 134 And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. 135 Those -- their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and how excellent is the wage of those who labour! 136 Different traditions existed in the past. Travel in the land and find out about the fate of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This Quran is an exposition for the people and a guidance and admonition for those who fear God. 138 And be not infirm, and be not grieving, and you shall have the upper hand if you are believers. 139 If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 140 and that God might render pure of all dross those who have attained to faith, and bring to nought those who deny the truth. 141 Do you think that you could enter paradise unless God takes cognizance of your having striven hard [in His cause,] and takes cognizance of your having been patient in adversity? 142 And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) 143
