Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
