We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
