The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 Even when Gog and Magog are let loose and they shall break forth from every elevated place. 96 when the true promise of God draws near, those who denied the truth will stare in amazement, crying, "Woe to us! We have been so heedless of this. Indeed, we were wrongdoers." 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 Had they really been gods they would not have entered it: They will all abide in it for ever. 99 Moaning will be their lot therein, and nothing [else] will they hear therein. 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 And assuredly We have prescribed in the Scripture after the admonition, that: the land! there shall inherit it My bondmen righteous. 105 herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship God. 106 And We have not sent thee except as a mercy unto the Worlds. 107 Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?" 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 He knows surely what you say aloud, and what you hide within your breasts. 110 I do not know (why God has commanded me to warn you of the torment). Perhaps it is a trial for you and a respite for an appointed time". 111 And the Prophet submitted, “My Lord render the true judgement”; “And only the help of Our Lord, the Most Gracious, is sought against all what you fabricate.” 112
God the Almighty always says the truth.
