Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
