Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
