Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7
