Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
