Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
