Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
