Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
