Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
