Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the Daybreak 1 against the evil of whatever He has created. 2 from the evil of night's darkness when it spreads around; 3 “And from the evil of the witches who blow into knots.” 4 And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
