Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
