Children of Israel, remember the favours I have bestowed upon you, and fulfil the covenant that you made with Me. I shall fulfil the covenant I made with you. Fear Me alone. 40 And believe in what I have sent down (this Quran), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] a small price (i.e. getting a small gain by selling My Verses), and fear Me and Me Alone. (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. I, Page 253). 41 And confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while ye know. 42 Establish worship, pay the poor-due, and bow your heads with those who bow (in worship). 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 Find strength in fortitude and prayer, which is heavy and exacting but for those who are humble and meek, 45 who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him. 46
