Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth while ye know. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense? 44 Seek help with the Salat and fortitude: no doubt, Salat is a hard task but not for those obedient servants, 45 (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. 46
