Al-Nesaa 16 of 24
We have revealed to you the Book in all Truth so that you judge among people by the laws of God. However, never defend the treacherous ones. 105 and pray forgiveness of God; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 106 Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime: 107 They seek to hide from men and seek not to hide from Allah. He is with them when by night they hold discourse displeasing unto Him. Allah ever surroundeth what they do. 108 Here you are - those who argue on their behalf in [this] worldly life - but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will [then] be their representative? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 He who earns the wages of sin does so for himself; and God is aware of everything and is wise. 111 And whosoever earns a fault or a sin and then casts it upon the innocent, thereby has laid upon himself calumny and manifest sin. 112
