Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate. 105 Ask God for forgiveness: He is most forgiving and merciful. 106 And do not plead on behalf of those who deceive themselves; indeed Allah does not like any treacherous, excessive sinner. 107 They hide themselves from men and do not hide themselves from Allah, and He is with them when they meditate by night words which please Him not, and Allah encompasses what they do. 108 You defend them in this life but who will defend them against God on the Day of Judgment and who will be their attorney? 109 And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks Allah's Forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 110 And whosoever earnoth a sin, only against his own soul he earnoth it; and Allah is ever Knowing, Wise. 111 And whosoever earnoth a vice or a sin, and thereafter casteth it on an innocent, he hath surely borne a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
