Surely, God will not forgive the ascribing of partners to Him. He forgives whoever He will for anything other than that. Whoever ascribes partners to God has strayed far indeed. 116 They [the polytheists] call upon female deities, and they invoke none but Satan, the rebellious one, 117 Whom Allah has cursed. For he had said, "I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion. 118 And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them and they will cut the cattle' ears, and surely I will command them and they will change Allah's creation. Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest. 119 The devil promises them and arouses desires in them; and the devil does not give them promises except of deceit. 120 These are they whose abode is hell, and they shall not find any refuge from it. 121 But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to the Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. in Paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah's Promise is the Truth, and whose words can be truer than those of Allah? (Of course, none). 122 Not by your vain desires nor by the vain desires of the people of the Book; whosoever worketh an evil, shall be requited therewith, and he will not find beside Allah a patron nor a helper. 123 And whosoever worketh of righteous works, male or female, and is a believer, these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged a speck. 124 And who can be better in religion than he who submitteth his countenance unto Allah, and is sincere, and followeth the faith of Ibrahim, the upright. And Allah took Ibrahim for a friend. 125 To God belongs all that the heavens and earth contain. God has knowledge of all things. 126
