Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people, and he said: "O people worship God; you have no other god but He; for I fear the retribution of the great Day may fall on you." 59 Said the Council of his people, 'We see thee in manifest error.' 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you; and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 What, do you wonder that a reminder from your Lord should come to you by the lips of a man from among you? That he may warn you, and you be godfearing, haply to find mercy.' 63 But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! 64
