(O Prophet!) Whatever you may be engaged in, whether you recite any portion of the Qur'an, or whatever else all of you are doing, We are witnesses to whatever you may be occupied with. Not even an atom's weight escapes your Lord on the earth or in the heaven, nor is there anything smaller or bigger than that, except that it is on record in a Clear Book. 61 Now surely the friends of Allah-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve. 62 the ones who believe and are God-fearing. 63 For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment. 64 (Muhammad), let not their words disappoint you; all dignity belongs to God. He is All-hearing and All-knowing. 65 Behold! verily to Allah belong all creatures, in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothing but fancy, and they do nothing but lie. 66 He it is Who hath appointed for you the night that ye should rest therein and the day giving sight. Lo! herein verily are portents for a folk that heed. 67 Some people have said that God has begotten a son. God is too Glorious to have a son! God is Self-sufficient and to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. In this, you (people) have no authority. Do you ascribe to God things of which you have no knowledge? 68 Say: "Verily, they who attribute their own lying inventions to God will never attain to a happy state!" 69 A brief enjoyment in the world; then unto Us is their return; then We will make them taste a severe torment, in that they have been disbelieving. 70
