We gave the people of Israel a settled abode, and bestowed good things on them to eat and use. So they did not differ until they came to have knowledge. Your Lord will assuredly settle their differences on the Day of Resurrection. 93 If you are in doubt of what We have sent down to you, ask those who recite the Book before you. The truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore do not be of the doubters. 94 Do not be among those who belie the verses of Allah, for then you would be among the losers. 95 Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, 96 Even if every sign comes to them, until they witness the painful punishment. 97 Was there any town (community) that believed (after seeing the punishment), and its Faith (at that moment) saved it (from the punishment)? (The answer is none,) - except the people of Yunus (Jonah); when they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the (present) world, and permitted them to enjoy for a while. 98 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? 99 notwithstanding that no human being can ever attain to faith otherwise than by God's leave, and [that] it is He who lays the loathsome evil [of disbelief] upon those who will not use - their reason? 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 What are they waiting for except to witness the repetition of the days of calamity that their predecessors witnessed? Tell them: 'Wait; I too am waiting with you. 102 Then We will save our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers 103
