And [subsequently] the king said, "Indeed, I have seen [in a dream] seven fat cows being eaten by seven [that were] lean, and seven green spikes [of grain] and others [that were] dry. O eminent ones, explain to me my vision, if you should interpret visions." 43 They said: 'They are confused nightmares, nor do we know anything of the interpretation of visions' 44 Then the servant, who of the two had been released, remembering (Joseph), said: "I will give you its interpretation; let me go for it." 45 [He said], "Joseph, O man of truth, explain to us about seven fat cows eaten by seven [that were] lean, and seven green spikes [of grain] and others [that were] dry - that I may return to the people; perhaps they will know [about you]." 46 He said: ye shall sow seven years as is your went; and that which ye reap leave in its ears, except a little whereof ye may eat. 47 "Then will come after that, seven hard (years), which will devour what you have laid by in advance for them, (all) except a little of that which you have guarded (stored). 48 Then thereafter will come a year wherein mankind will have rain and wherein they will press. 49
