Hizb 26
< random >
۞ Then is he who knows what is sent down to you from your Lord is the truth like he who is blind? Indeed, only those possessed with minds remember 19 Those who fulfill the Covenant of Allah and break not the Mithaq (bond, treaty, covenant); 20 And those who enjoin that which Allah hath commanded to be enjoined, and fear their Lord, and dread the evil reckoning; 21 and who are patient in adversity out of a longing for their Sustainer's countenance, and are constant in prayer, and spend on others, secretly and openly, out of what We provide for them as sustenance, and [who] repel evil with good. It is these that shall find their fulfilment in the hereafter: 22 The everlasting Gardens of Eden which they will enter, and the deserving among their forefathers and their wives and their descendants the angels will enter upon them from every gate. 23 "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home." 24 As for those who break the covenant of Allah after accepting it, who part what He has commanded to be united and worked corruption in the land, a curse shall be laid on them, and they shall have an evil abode. 25 God gives abundant sustenance to whomever He wants and determines everyone's destiny. Some people are very happy with the worldly life. Compared to the life to come it is only a temporary means. 26
