Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
