Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
