▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
