O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 Wherefore leave thou them in their bewilderment for a season. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 We do not impose on any soul what is beyond its capacity. We have the Book which speaks the truth and no injustice will be done to it. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Or do they say, 'He is bedevilled'? Nay, he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse from the truth. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or are you asking them for any reward? But the reward of your Lord is the best, for He is the Best of Providers, 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77
