Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
