Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and [also,] that the suffering which I shall impose [on sinners] will indeed be a suffering most grievous. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
