"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
