So when the envoys came to the household of Lot, 61 He said: "Verily! You are people unknown to me." 62 They said, “In fact we have brought to you the matter which these people doubted.” 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 So set out with your family in a watch of the night, and keep yourself behind them, and no one of you may turn around, and keep going ahead as you have been commanded." 65 And We made plain the case to him, that the root of them (who did wrong) was to be cut at early morn. 66 The people of the town came along, revelling, 67 Said Lot: "These are my guests; do not put me to shame, 68 “And fear Allah and do not disgrace me.” 69 They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?" 70 He said: 'Here are my daughters; take them (in marriage), if you would be doing' 71 By your life O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they are indeed straying in their intoxication. 72 Then the shout took hold of them at the sunrise. 73 and We turned it uppermost nethermost and rained on it stones of baked clay. 74 Lo! therein verily are portents for those who read the signs. 75 And lo! it is upon a road still uneffaced. 76 Lo! therein is indeed a portent for believers. 77 And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. 78 We therefore took revenge from them; and indeed both these townships are situated on an open road. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
