It is He who sends down water from the sky of which you drink, and which nourishes the plants you feed your cattle, 10 (With this water) He causes corn, olives, palm-trees, vines, and all kinds of fruits to grow. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of understanding. 11 And He subjected the night and the day for you – and the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected to His command; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 12 And there are also Signs for those who take heed in the numerous things of various colours that He has created for you on earth. 13 And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful. 14 He has set up on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake under you, and rivers and tracks, so that you may find your way, 15 And landmarks; and by the stars they find the right way. 16 Is He, then, who creates like him who does not create? Will you not, then, take heed? 17 For, should you try to count God's blessings, you could never compute them! Behold, God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace; 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you disclose. 19 Those unto whom they cry beside Allah created naught, but are themselves created. 20 Dead, without life they are, and do not know when they will be raised. 21
