And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged - We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know. 41 (It is they) who have exercised patience and trust in their Lord. 42 The Messengers whom We sent before you were mere mortals to whom We had sent with miracles and revelations. Ask those who know about the heavenly Books if you do not know about this. 43 [We sent them] with clear signs and scriptures. We have sent down the Reminder to you, to enable you to make clear to mankind what has been sent down to them, so that they may reflect upon it. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or, that He will not seize them in their going to and fro, and they will not be able to frustrate Him? 46 Or that He will not seize them with a gradual wasting? Lo! thy Lord is indeed Full of Pity, Merciful. 47 Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly? 48 To God bows everything in the heavens, and every creature crawling on the earth, and the angels. They have not waxed proud; 49 they fear their Lord above them, and do what they are commanded. ۩ 50
