And the day when We will raise up a witness from every nation – then there will be no leave for the disbelievers, nor will they be appeased. 84 Once the wrong-doers have beheld the chastisement, neither will it be lightened for them nor will they be granted any respite. 85 When those who gave partners to Allah will see their "partners", they will say: "Our Lord! these are our 'partners,' those whom we used to invoke besides Thee." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Indeed ye are liars!" 86 And they will impart to Allah that Day [their] submission, and lost from them is what they used to invent. 87 The disbelievers who had created obstacles in the way leading to God will face manifold torments as a result of their evil deeds. 88 And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. 89
