Lo! Abraham was a nation obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the idolaters; 120 He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way. 121 We bestowed good upon him in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall certainly be among the righteous. 122 Then We revealed to you: Follow the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists. 123 The Sabbath was only enjoined on those who differed about it. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding the things about which they differed. 124 (O Prophet), call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and reason with them in the best manner possible. Surely your Lord knows best who has strayed away from His path, and He also knows well those who are guided to the Right Way. 125 And if you chastise, chastise even as you have been chastised; and yet assuredly if you are patient, better it is for those patient. 126 Be patient; yet your patience is only by the help of Allah. Do not grieve for them (the unbelievers), nor distress yourself because of their devising. 127 Surely God is with those who are godfearing, and those who are good-doers. 128
